Refunds
A Journal Scribe plan is a one-time payment for one month of the writing service, for one website, up to the daily article maximum on the plan you bought. Paddle is the merchant of record and processes the card payment.
If checkout took the payment and this site did not show a service key, or the key cannot be used, contact the plugin author through the WordPress.org support forum for Journal Scribe, account aeeris. Include the email you used at checkout. A refund is issued through Paddle back to the original payment method.
The WordPress plugin itself stays free to install. Ending or refunding a plan stops new generation when the key is revoked. It does not lock the plugin screens.
